Grand Touring is a group of highly-skilled, professional craftspeople whose mission is to restore and revive premium, vintage European and American sports cars. We are exceedingly passionate about our projects focusing on providing perhaps more importantly the driving experience. Our main objective is always to best preserve a car’s historical pedigree while delivering an extraordinary, real-world driving experience unlike any other. We achieve this by fostering a team that embodies the qualities and workmanship required to meticulously restore and service vintage vehicles.
Purpose:Primarily
The Client Manager is the direct, primary link between the Client and their investment, and the Grand Touring team. They are aware of all functions of restoration and service personnel and activities, and plays the lead role in communicating relevant project updates to Client. Client Manager also communicates any and all Client needs and concerns to Shop Manager and General Manager, as needed, so that there is clear and efficient sharing of information among all parties. Ultimately, the role of the Client Manager is to develop the highest possible degree of customer satisfaction through communication and effective customer care, and present a clear understanding of the Client’s wishes to the Grand Touring team.
What You'll Be Working with:
Primarily, 1950's to early 1990's European sports cars— Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bizzarrini, Iso Grifo, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Jaguar, Aston Martin, and others.
Responsibilities:
Specializing in Ferrari and Italian projects, encompassing everything from routine maintenance to comprehensive and meticulous restorations.

Coordination and communication of information and updates between Shop and Client.

Updating Client on progress of their automobile(s) in a timely and consistent manner.

Meet regularly with General Manager and Shop Manager to coordinate updates on job status.

Reporting of Client questions and concerns to Shop Technician, Shop Manager, &/or General Manager, as needed.

Distribution of regularly-scheduled communications updates for Client.

Production (with Marketing and Social Media Managers) of video, still imagery, and copy for the above Client communications.

Archiving of the above communications in a shared Google Drive.

Help facilitate effective team collaboration.

Engage all project stakeholders to help ensure a consistently open and efficient line of communication.

Adhere to reporting and communications as per the organizational chart.

Help maintain cleanliness and organization of service department, service vehicles, and equipment.

Record activity regarding personnel who violate company policies. Obtain guidance from Owner/General Manager on next steps.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education &/or Experience:
-
2+ years related work experience and/or training.

2+ years general sales and client project management experience.

Experience with, and detailed knowledge of, 20th Century European sports cars a plus.

Microsoft Windows, Office, and Google Workspace experience a plus.
Skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write legibly and to speak effectively before customers and employees.

Excellent interpersonal skills.

Valid driver's license required.
