This is a unique opportunity to gain familiarity and experience with some of the rarest and most iconic European sports cars of the mid-20th century. There are multiple growth opportunities from this position.
What You'll Be Working With
1950's to early 1990's European sports cars— Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bizzarrini, Iso, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Jaguar, Aston Martin, and more.
What you'll be doing
• Effectively and efficiently maintain vehicle appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles.
• Clean and restore the surface of the car's finish to original condition.
• Clean and polish nickel plated trim, windows, wheels, tires, and other visible components on the vehicle's exterior (headlights, brake lights, taillights, etc.).
• Clean and condition upholstery, vinyl, and leather.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Utilize surface finishing equipment (ultrasonic cleaner, various media blasters, vapor hone, etc.) to prepare smaller components for finishing.
• Utilize various paints, coatings, and electro-plating equipment to apply desired finish to components.
• Work closely with the project leadership to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery.
• Actively seek out additional assignments during non-peak time frames.
Ideal background
• High School degree, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of automotive detailing experience preferred.
• Experience working with classic cars and original finishes and materials preferred, but not required.
