Grand Touring is a group of highly-skilled, professional craftspeople whose mission is to restore and revive significant vintage European and Domestic classic cars. What you'll be working on:

1950's to early 1980's European and Domestic classics; Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bizzarrini, Iso Grifo, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Jaguar, Aston Martin...

What you'll be doing:

• Effectively and efficiently maintain vehicle appearance and performance by cleaning the interior and exterior of vehicles.

• Clean and restore the surface of the car's finish so that it exceeds its original condition.

• Clean/polish nickel plating trim, windows, wheels, tires, and other visible components on the vehicle's exterior (headlights, brake lights, taillights, etc.).

• Clean/condition upholstery, compartments, windows, vinyl, and leather.

• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies.

• Work closely with the project leadership to ensure vehicles are ready for delivery.

• Actively seek out additional assignments during non-peak time frames.

 

Ideal background:

• High School degree or equivalent.

• 3+ years experience in automotive detailing preferred.

• Ability to polish to a high gloss, remove swirl marks, light scratches, blemishes, and water spots.

• Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) multi-step parts cleaning and reconditioning utilizing ultra-sonic cleaning, bead blast cleaning, and/or vapor honing.​
