Grand Touring is a group of highly-skilled, professional craftspeople whose mission is to restore and revive premium, vintage European and American sports cars. We are exceedingly passionate about our projects focusing on providing perhaps more importantly the driving experience. Our main objective is always to best preserve a car’s historical pedigree while delivering an extraordinary, real-world driving experience unlike any other.  We achieve this by fostering a team that embodies the qualities and workmanship required to meticulously restore and service vintage vehicles.

What You'll Be Working with:
Primarily, but not exclusively, Italian classics from the 1950's to 1980's, with an emphasis on Ferraris.

What you'll be doing:

Specializing in Ferrari and Italian projects, encompassing everything from routine maintenance to comprehensive and meticulous restorations.

  • Removal and replace powertrains, suspension, and brake systems.

  • Diverse forms of wiring.

  • Dash assemblies and interior replacement.

  • Full auto tear-down and reassemblies.

  • Various metal fabrication projects.

  • Advanced bodywork.

  • Welding.

  • Wet sand and buff skills.

  • Advanced auto detailing.

  • Work within a schedule to ensure on-time project completion.

Ideal background:

  • High School degree, or equivalent.

  • 5+ years experience working on Ferraris and/or other similar marques.

  • Enjoys finding solutions to diverse problems that may arise throughout a restoration.

  • Has an exceptional eye for detail.

  • Takes pride in their work.

  • Effective communicator.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Valid driver's license required.

Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 

  • Ability to write legibly and to speak effectively before customers and employees.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
