Grand Touring is a group of highly-skilled, professional craftspeople whose mission is to restore and revive significant vintage European sports cars. We are exceedingly passionate about our projects which we regard as works of art. Our main objectives include maintaining the utmost originality whenever possible, serving our clients’ needs, and fostering a team that embodies the qualities and workmanship required to meticulously service and restore vintage vehicles.


The High-Level Fabricator is responsible for the creation of needed parts and is occasionally required to creatively re-envision vehicle components with respect to their original intent.

What You'll Be Working With

1950's to early 1990's European sports cars— Ferrari, Lamborghini, Bizzarrini, Iso Grifo, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Jaguar, Aston Martin...


  • Ability to weld and finish mild steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel products.

  • Interpret layouts from drawings and/or sketches.

  • Create components for projects to ensure on-schedule completion.

  • Collaborate with project teams to understand project needs.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to form shapes/panels.


Education and/or Experience

  • High School degree or equivalent.

  • 7+ years fabrication experience.

  • Experience with automotive restoration is a plus.


  • Ability to use a variety of tools and equipment.

  • Math skills and mechanical aptitude.

  • Ability to read blueprints and recognize welding symbols and specifications.

  • Knowledge of industry safety practices.

  • Knowledge of specific welding processes, such as TIG, MIG, and ARC.

  • Proficient metal cutting using oxy-acetylene and plasma operations

  • Identify materials or equipment that will need protection before welding, grinding, or fabrication commence.

  • Knowledge of specific use of shop equipment including, shear, press, ironworker, drill press, various metal cutting saws, etc.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.

  • The employee is occasionally required to sit and stoop, kneel, and crouch or crawl.

  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
