1962 Ferrari GTE 2+2
#3333
Many of us can trace back to the moment our love for cars began.
For some it may have been watching an adrenaline-fueled blockbuster that glamorized the art of speed, maybe it was going to your first car show and being captivated by the shiny new Italian sports car whose name you couldn’t pronounce, for others it may have been the moment you were finally allowed to lend a hand in the garage on that old project car. For Chuck Wray, it was when a close family friend, Tom Tomulonis, purchased this 1962 Ferrari 250 GTE 2+2 in 1972. In other words, this car is quite literally responsible for Grand Touring’s existence today— so it seems only right that we’re meticulously carrying out its restoration.
